Noki Chinmoku is very silent. She is a young guardian and protects the forest. Thats why she knows many protection spells.
She is hard to handle, because she can't trust other ponys and is very shy.
Actually she is nocturnal and wanders through her territory, when the sun sinks. Thats why you can't see her that often.
She was found and adopted by the forest goddess, which protects the woods.

Noki has a deformed throat (it has a hole in it) AND a forked tongue. Both are handicaps, she is born with.
She can speak, but it's very exhausting and sounds hissing and croaky. So she always uses her collar with the loudspeaker, which speaks in a female adult robot voice.
She can communicate with animals and plants in a secret way. For that she uses an inner silent voice and is much more calmed down. Also she can howl (like a wolf), which is heard kilometres away and a beautiful ancient music.
Noki has carnivoire teeth, but is a vegetarian.

Oh and don't forget: Her magic will appear as a green spiral between her horns OR will cover her horns.
And the green tone of her eyes becomes stronger with the magic. She is talented, but has self doubts ...

Her race called themselves "Rags" (the science named them "Cornids" (deutsch: Corniden) later). The males were usually bigger than the females, but the small mares controlled the tribe. They were carnivore and hunted in little packs of females. The stallions took care of the foals and were known for their talent in blacksmithing. The elder council was made up of the wisest mares in the tribe.
The mares had antlers, which can grow (related to their rank) to enormous sizes. The males had nones, but they could develope huge lower fangs (like male wild hogs), when they were high ranked (high ranked for males, of course).
It happened sometimes that a female had a harem of several stallions. But most time the males just accepted their role as the "homemaker" and left the important jobs to the females.
The Rags were a folk of warriors and artists. Every filly was educated to become a great warrior or a priestess, which healed the wounded in battle and stood in direct connection to the nature spirits.
Rags were religious and believed in several nature spirits, but also "the god of the whole" (deutsch: Der Gott des Großen Ganzen).
Noki doesn't know about her roots. But it is said, that some Rags still live hidden. Noki's destiny - to become a priestess - would be supported by her unusual sensibility for nature and animals. Moreover she can use magic, which normally is a skill of elders or high ranked priestesses.



Exalope

Exalope is based on my real cat and is Noki's little companion. He is a little sweetheart and does his best to help Noki.
But he is also very very curious and cheeky.
He has learned the pony language, but can still speak with other animals. And by the way he has a really nice singing voice c:
